At the heart of Self-Sustaining Leadership® is the intent to connect and serve using the power of love.

 

We provide experiential courses and workshops. Our three-course program provides the essential skills for transforming your daily experience while discovering how to lead with your heart beginning with yourself. The first is for personal leadership, the second is learning to coach yourself through everyday life, and the third is for becoming a coach.

 

Each course consists of tools, activities, coaching, and on-going group dialogues for growing these skills. Each one builds upon and reinforces the skills from the previous classes and course. Participants are free to decide after each course whether or not to continue.

Workshops will be offered as the need arises to explore topics in more depth. For instance, when we introduce Operating Beliefs, Receiving and Embracing Emotions, or Self-Love, you'll have the opportunity to join a workshop to clarify your understanding, further explore skills, and ask questions.

What You Will Experience

Community Dialogues

At the beginning of classes, we have a focused sharing dialogue to deepen our connection based on participants’ challenges, learning, and experiences. Open questions might be: What incremental improvements are you experiencing as you notice and shift thought? How are you experiencing the Fear-to-Love Spectrum during your day? How are you doing with setting and enforcing boundaries at work and with your family?

Community Coaching

During or between classes we conduct group coaching sessions focusing on a particular skill or two such as Shifting Beliefs introduced at the previous class. It is an opportunity to share reflections and ask questions. It becomes a learning and support community of people on a similar journey. (Participants may request individual coaching for a fee.) Individuals who have already completed a course may join in these Community Coaching. It provides an opportunity to deepen their understanding of skills, ask questions, and explore challenges.

Learning Components

The format for each class includes short interactive skill presentations; individual and small group/team activities; group sharing; skill learning labs for further reflection and experience between classes. At the end of each class we conduct an After Action Review: What went well for you today? and What would work better for you?
